BlackRock’s Crypto ETF Inflows Surge 366% in Q2, Driving Record $12.5T AUM
BlackRock’s cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs) witnessed a staggering $14 billion in inflows during the second quarter of 2025, marking a 366% increase from the previous quarter. The surge underscores growing institutional appetite for digital assets, with crypto ETFs now accounting for 16.5% of total ETF inflows—up from less than 3% in Q1.
The asset manager’s global AUM reached an all-time high of $12.5 trillion, fueled by $152 billion in net inflows during the first half of the year. Revenue from digital asset products ROSE to $40 million in base fees, reflecting stronger investor participation through regulated vehicles.
This acceleration mirrors broader market trends as traditional finance increasingly adopts crypto exposure. BlackRock’s iShares ETF suite has become a primary gateway for institutional capital flowing into the asset class.
